Ulkopolitiikka is a quarterly magazine on foreign affairs, published by the Finnish Institute of International Affairs.
A key focus was put on long-form reportage storytelling, one of the key elements in the magazine. Also providing all articles from one print issue for digital subscribers on a clear page, was important. The website has a paywall, allowing some free articles before restricting access. The visual style reapplies the award-winning design of the Ulkopolitiikka print magazine, following its minimalist, uncluttered style. The site designed were delivered as Sketch files, including descriptions on funcions and taxonomies, delivered to a web development team. The redesigned website is found on Ulkopolitiikka.fi.
